Striving!

Each one is striving, at every point every human being is striving towards something.

As we know more about the spiritual aspect, many new aspects come in front of us. In my journey every day, in fact every moment was a new learning experience. More I started paying attention to what was going around me, more & more knowledge was revealed.

It was revealed that every soul by whatever journey he/she chooses tries to perfect itself in that aspect. Sometimes what seems very difficult to understand can be because the soul has chosen a particular path to learn a particular lesson. For example, a soul which would have chosen to remain (so called) unintelligent, what it is trying to do in that time space is learning to build his physical strength by learning to perfectly use each & every muscle of his body or just learning to not use the logical brain or looking at the world from a different perspective.

When we look at this multitude of the universe, we look at it from a perspective which is coloured by our own upbringing, our own experiences & that which comes mainly from our past. If we continue with the above example, what we do when we meet some person who faces difficulties we immediately start sympathising with that person. We start pitying that person, thinking of the difficulties that he/she is going through. Fair enough, because we are sensitive to other’s pain. This is what makes us human, isn’t it? From the very beginning we are taught to become sensitive to other people. So naturally we show compassion.

As per spiritual perspective what happens to us is instead of remaining aware about the reality, we start perceiving only a limited perspective of the reality. In such a situation, by sympathising we are actually denying the greatness that that soul is. We start looking at him feeling sorry, so we have already started making him/her little. We immediately create separation. The situation we are reacting to is like a small drop in the ocean of consciousness, where the soul itself chooses how it would like to learn his/her lessons. We think & look at it as if that was the end of the world. There was no hope, no other possibility for that soul. We jump to help in various ways that we can.

Many of us join any kind of healing profession just to correct all that is ‘wrong’ in the world. We think suffering, sorrow is not required & must be eradicated. We try to become the saviour. Every time we try to save someone, we are taking away the right of freedom from that person. Every time we try to correct their reality, we are belittling the Being of its capacities. In fact during this time we cut ourselves from awareness. We limit the self from the greatness that we truly are & everybody that they are.

In fact as Bhagvat Geeta rightly says, ‘Whatever ‘is’ is as it should be!’ As we start looking at things the way they are, we are in allowance of everything. We start looking at the inner core of an individual. From that perspective we see complete wellness & health. There is no resistance. We help everyone grow. This is the reason great masters always refrain from ‘helping’. They know that by helping they are not helping at all, it would be interference in the course of events. They don’t heal others till the person asks for healing. They are in total allowance of every situation. They are acknowledging the greatness the other person is & are allowing the other person to choose for the self. That’s the reason when they heal the healing is much faster. They have actually invoked the healer which is present in the person who has come for healing.

When we look at things as they are, we know that every soul is striving to perfect itself in some or the other aspect. The soul itself has chosen what would be the path, how it would like to go through that path. The soul is great enough to choose the path it wants to walk.
